Trumpeter swans fly through the April sky near the northern outskirts of the city of Grande Prairie Thursday, April 16/20. While the birds are back in the Peace Country people wanting to see them will have to do their own scouting as the annual Swan Festival will not be running this year thanks to the Covid 19 pandemic. Many residents are wishing the virus would take flight instead, although up until now the infection rate in some areas of the province like Grande Prairie and Edson have been unbelievably low compared to even nearby communities.
