The challenge, which saw competitors from departments of all sizes from Alberta and BC, required contestants, wearing their bunker gear and an air pack, to carry a high rise pack up a four-storey tower, haul up a second hose bundle by rope, run down the stairs, hammer a sled requiring 500 pounds of force a set distance, run a serpentine course, drag a charged hose and then fire at a target and finish by dragging a 175-pound rescue dummy across the finish line.
