The colours of fall line the foreground in front of the old Hines Creek elevator in the Peace Country village. Elevators which were a common sight in the Prairies from Dawson Creek and Hines Creek to Southern Manitoba are rapidly disappearing from the landscape as they fall into disrepair and are demolished — although some are retrofitted into museums.
