The late blooming flowers in a field of sunflowers provides some nectar for bees while the remainder of the crop is visited by birds trying to score a meal. This is the second year for the sunflower crop at Kendal Farms on the outskirts of Clairmont. The crop will be harvested and sold for bird seed and the money used to support Ukrainians who arrived in the South Peace as a result of fleeing the war in their home country.
