The blue Alberta sky stands in contrast to the bright yellow of a blooming canola field southwest of Grande Prairie. While things look promising compared to last year, the Peace Country, and most of northern Alberta, is stilled plagued by below normal precipitation, a concern at this time when crops are at a critical stage of their development.
